| Engineering and Technology (CSE/IT/EC) | Candidates must be holders of M.Tech/ M. S./ M.E. or equivalent in CSE (Computer Science and Engineering)/ IT (Information Technology)/ EC (Electronics and Communication), E (Electronics), EE (Electrical Engineering), EEE (Electrical & Electronics Engineering) degrees. They must also be holders of B. Tech/ B.E./ M.Sc/ MCA also in CSE/ IT/ EC/ E/EE/EEE or equivalent.Candidates must have BE/B.Tech & ME/ M.Tech in relevant branch with 1st class or equivalent either in BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech.Candidates to be considered for Doctoral programs at ABV-IIITM Gwalior must have a GATE/NET (LS/JRF) score. |
| Management | Candidates must have First class Masters Degree or its equivalent CGPA in any branch of Engineering/ Technology or Management. OR 1st class Master’s Degree holder or its equivalent CGPA in Science, Computer Science, Operations Research, Commerce or Economics with Statistics or Mathematics as one of the courses in Undergraduate level.Candidates to be considered for Doctoral programs at ABV-IIITM Gwalior must have a GATE/NET (LS/JRF) score. |
| Applied Sciences | M Sc./ M.Tech in Physics/Applied Physics/Material Science/ Nanotechnology/ Engineering Physics / Electronics /Computational Physics/ Fiber Optics/ Nano Electronics.M.Sc. / M.Tech in Mathematics /Applied Mathematics/ Industrial Mathematics/ Statistics/ Operations Research/ Engineering Mathematics/ Computational Mathematics with first division or equivalent CGPA.Candidates to be considered for Doctoral programs at ABV-IIITM Gwalior must have a GATE/NET (LS/JRF) score. |

| Application Fee of Rs. 500 (For Gen/OBC/EWS) and Rs 250 (for SC/ST/PH) should be submitted through online payment gateway available at Home Page of the Institute’s Website |
| Candidates must specify broad areas of research in the application form. |
| Selection will be based on previous academic record and / or performance in written test/interview. |
| The syllabus for the written examination is available on the Institute website. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidates. |
| Selection of PhD Admission will be based on available Faculty Expertise. List of short-listed candidates for written test / interview will be uploaded on institute website . No separate intimation will be sent to the applicants. Mentioned qualification is indicative of eligibility criteria. The shortlisting criteria may be higher depending upon the number of applications. |
