ENGAGEMENT OF TRADE APPRENTICES

(Under The Apprentices Act 1961 as amended in 1961,1973 & 2014)

Advanced Systems Laboratory (ASL), Hyderabad is a premier Laboratory at APJ Abdul Kalam Missile Complex of Defence Research and Development Organization. The Laboratory invites applications from young and meritorious Indian Nationals for Engagement of Trade (ITI) Apprentices. Selection will be made on the basis of Academic Merit / Written Test / Interview as required.

Stipend (P.M) : Rs. 7,700/- to Rs. 8,050/-

Terms & Condition for Selection of Apprentices:

1. Candidates for Trade Apprentices should have registered at apprenticeshipindia.org. Non registered candidates will be rejected.
2. Application registered on-line apprenticeshipindia.org ONLY will be accepted.
3. Those candidates who have completed the qualifying examination (ITI) as regular candidates are only eligible to apply.
4. Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination (ITI) in the year 2019, 2020 & 2021 are ONLY eligible.
5. The tenure of the Apprenticeship for above Trades would be ONE YEAR, commencing from execution of the Contract of Apprenticeship.
6. A physical fitness certificate from a Civil Assistant Surgeon should be produced by the selected candidate at the time of joining.
7. ASL being highly protected establishment, selected candidates have to submit the following certificates at the time of joining.

• Submission of Police Verification Certificate from their Local Police Station and
• Submission of conduct / character certificate from head of previous educational institute OR from a Group ‘A’ Gazetted Officer.

8. Verification of credentials shall be done and in case of any deviation from or non­conformity with the desired qualification, candidature of the candidate shall be summarily rejected.

9. Suppression of facts will also lead to disqualification, at any stage of the selection process or during the training period.

10. Candidates who have already undergone or who are currently undergoing Apprenticeship under Apprenticeship Act 1961 are not eligible to apply.
11. No TA / DA will be paid to the applicants called for any stage of the selection process.
12. The apprentices will NOT be provided any hostel accommodation / quarter transport by the establishment at any stage of the selection process, and also during the training period. Also no allowances will be admissible except the consolidated stipend.
13. Candidates selected for training will not be allowed to withdraw from training except for reasons which are beyond their control. Before commencement of the training, the candidates will have to execute a Contract of Apprenticeship. Those who absent themselves are liable to refund the whole cost of their training as well as the amount received as stipend as determined by the Central Apprenticeship Advisor.
14. Offer of apprenticeship does not confer on the candidates, any right for absorption in DRDO.
15. ASL reserves the right to withdraw / cancel the advertisement if circumstances so warrant without assigning any reason thereof.
16. In case of any dispute, the legal jurisdiction will be at Hyderabad.

HOW TO APPLY:

1. Eligible candidates have to register in the ONLINE web portal of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) i.e apprenticeshipindia.org and get the Registration number. They have to update their profile by uploading SSC, ID Proof, Qualification, Category (if applicable), PWD documents (if applicable) and Aadhar Number.
2. In the same portal candidates have to apply for apprenticeship opportunity in Advanced Systems Laboratory.
3. Application registered on-line on apprenticeshipindia.org ONLY will be accepted.
4. Last date to apply: 10 days from the publication of advertisement.
