RECRUITMENT 2021– 22

The Assam Royal Global University (RGU), Guwahati (Assam) a State Private University , with about 12 Lakh sq.ft. centrally air-conditioned campus, offering 130+ programmes under its 27 schools, with a student strenght of 3500+ & 250+ faculty is inviting applications from sincere, committed and qualified candidates with pioneering ideas, for the following positions

1. Pro Vice-Chancellor

Distinguished Academician, below 62 years of age (as on 01.06.2021), with a minimum of five years experience

as Professor in a University system / ten years’ experience in an equivalent position in a reputed research and/or academic administrative organization.

2. Dean – Academic

Eminent Scholar, below the age of 62 years (as on 01.06.2021), having an overall experience of 15 years, of which minimum 3 years of experience as a Director/Principal/Head of Institution offering technical courses. Must have proficiency in dealing and coordinating with the Deans of different schools/faculties for academic administra­tion.

3. Dean – Research & Innovations

Eminent Researcher with Ph.D., below the age of 62 years (as on 01.06.2021), having an experience of minimum12 years in university/college and/or experience in research at the University/National level institutions /industry, with published work of high quality and actively engaged in research. The evidence of published work, with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy papers is essen­tial. Guiding candidates for research at doctoral level and experience of patents, TOT etc. is desirable.

4. Director – Accreditation & Ranking

Candidates, below the age of 62 years (as on 01.06.2021), having more than 10 years experience of work in university and minimum 5 years experience of looking after Accreditation and ranking process.

5. Dean in – ₍a) Journalism & Mass Communication; (b) Psychology & Behavioural Science; (c) English; (d) Humanities; (e) Management & Commerce.

Professor/s of repute in specific fields/courses with experience in Academic Administration and below 62 years of age (as on 01.06.2021)

6. Principal / Dean in

(a) Nursing; (b) Law

Professor/s of repute in specific fields/courses with experience in Academic Administration and below 62 years of age (as on 01.06.2021)

• Retired Associate Professors/Professors, upto the age of 68, may also apply.

9. Registrar

– A Ph.D. Candidate with at least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor / with 8 years of service as Associate Professor along with 3 years experience in educational administration / Comparable experience in research establishment or other institutions of higher education / 15 years administrative experience of which 8 years as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.
