About This RoleWells Fargo is looking for Operations Manager who will work as part of CSBB Operations & manage functions under Retail Core Operations organization, Wells Fargo Bank, N.A.
The role would require working with various line of businesses, aligned to various schedules. Manager in this role will be responsible for 24*7 site management across 2 locations in India supporting U.S timings.
You will work with Associate Managers, Senior ICs as direct reporting with indirect reporting of junior to mid-level ICs and will report to Delivery Leader managing defined service level agreement.
In This Role, You Will
- Manage and develop one or more specialized customer service and operations functional teams within Operations area with complex and risk in functional area
- Develop strategies to improve staffing processes, ensure specialized functions meet regulatory guidelines in support of risk management and compliance
- Engage stakeholders and internal partners associated within the Operations area
- Work independently on moderately complex issues and projects
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk control development and escalates issues to more experienced management
- Provide training, performance, evaluation and coaching of less experienced team
- Make decisions and resolve issues regarding resources, objectives and operations of functional area and team to meet business objectives
- Interpret and develop policies and procedures for operation functions with low to moderate complexity within scope of responsibility
- Provide responsibility for budget and financial performance
- Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers
- Lead team to achieve objectives
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Operations
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
Essential Qualification & Skills
- University degree in Business, Commerce or any other discipline
- 10+ years’ experience in Operations, Banking Financial Services Industry
- 5+ years Leadership experience
- Strong analytical skills with eye to details
- Good with numbers and reading various data types
- Flexible with working in US operational hours i.e. India night shifts & quickly adjust to schedule change as needed
- Schedule to be considered open-ended. Additional/extended hours may be required based on business need
Desired Qualifications:
- Quality-Oriented. Demonstrates high-level of attention to detail meeting deadlines Working knowledge in quality or with back-office processing experience or its equivalent
- Experience of working in Banking Financial Service Industry, preferably US Banking Operations
- Transition and leading teams with new transition is sought after skill set
