My Gov DARPG Hackathon Contest

About: Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions conducting an Online Hackathon for inviting innovative solutions for the Citizen Grievance Redressal Mechanism. The basic objective is to provide technology driven solutions to improve the grievance redressal mechanism in the country.

PROBLEM STATEMENTS FOR THE HACKATHON

  1. Create a Chatbot that will help the Citizens to resolve their common queries related to filing a Grievance in the CPGRAMS portal (https://pgportal.gov.in) and expedite smooth submission of grievances.
  2. Making the redressal process more robust and data-driven to reduce the Grievance submission and resolution lifecycle. Technology such as AI and ML could be used.
  3. Improvise the quality of public grievance disposals for greater satisfaction of citizens.
  4. Create predictive models using datasets to smooth the Grievance redressal mechanism.

Registration
All participants and their team members must have to be a registered member of MyGov or OGD Platform. A registered user can directly login at https://event.data.gov.in or https://innovate.mygov.in and submit requisite details to participate in the Hackathon. It is expected that the participants would submit the real details and they have to confirm this before submission. A team leader and each team member can be part of only one team. Any one of the team members can create a team for participation.

Registered users of the Hackathon would be shared API links of citizen grievance datasets (anonymised and hashed) on their email id along with API keys for their restricted access. However, other datasets viz. registrant details, nodal officer details, both hashed as well as time series statistical data would be available on Open Government Data Platform (https://data.gov.in).
